Concordia Oak (Quercus × concordia)
The Concordia Oak (Quercus Concordia) is a hybrid oak tree. This hyrbid tree showcases the best characteristics of both parents, resulting in a vigorous, fast-growing tree with a strong central leader and a pyramidal to oval crown. The leaves are glossy, dark green in color, and turn a stunning red-orange-brown in the fall. The Concordia Oak is an important source of food and shelter for many different species of wildlife, including birds, squirrels, and deer. The acorns are a valuable food source for many animals, and the tree's branches and leaves provide nesting and hiding places. Concordia Oaks are also valuable timber trees.
