Red Haven is a popular peach variety for home gardeners and commercial growers alike. It is known for its large, sweet, and juicy peaches that ripen in mid-August. Excellent flavor and great for canning, freezing and fresh eating. Red Haven trees are also relatively easy to care for and are cold hardy to USDA zone 5 (950 chill hours). This vigorous variety is well anchored and tolerant of a high-water table.
